Affordable 3-Plane Green Laser by Kaiweets

Unless you’re a low-priced laser aficionado, we’re guessing you haven’t heard of the Kaiweets brand.

If you’re into construction in any way, shape or form, you may be familiar Bosch and their superior laser offerings. And yes, Brad owns several of the German company’s self-leveling wunder tools.

However, if you’re not using a laser level every day of the week, or if you’re looking for an inexpensive backup for the superstar laser in your toolbox, there are some decidedly good offerings out there that will also save you a couple of C-notes.

For the money, the Kaiweets laser is pretty impressive.

Kaiweets was founded in 2018 by a group of engineers determined to make reliable and affordable electrical testing tools. With some eco-friendly vibes thrown in.

Their 3-Plane KT360A Self Leveling green laser is made with a sturdy housing that is waterproof and dustproof.

Fresh out of the box, it comes with a mount for your tripod that you can slide back and forth, two rechargeable lithium batteries, a charger and green sensor, along with a practical case with foam cut-outs for the gear.

Plus some other items including a steel plate, a magnetic holder and a USB cable. The company also offers 36 months of after-sale service and lifetime technical support.

One little quibble. Unlike our fave Dewalt batteries, you can’t tell how much charge a Kaiweets battery has until it’s attached to the laser.

Not even close to a deal-breaker though. Especially when the Kaiweets batteries usually last more than 20 hours each.

The 3-plane laser will shoot up to 30 meters. Don’t stare into it, because it is a Class Two laser.

Brad put the laser through its paces for hours on the job site, and noticed that the laser was ever so slightly thinner than on his Bosch. But as you can see from the photo, plenty bright enough.

One button keeps things simple for easy selection between modes.
