Why you can NEVER have too many slim Dewalt batteries

If you’re into tools as much as Brad is, you’re gonna need some power to fuel the addiction.

The 2-amp Dewalt 20v Lithium XR batteries are a go-to on the job site.

Why? They can usually power whatever tool he’s running for an hour. Their slim profile makes it easier to work in tight places and their charge meters on the front quickly indicate their charge level.

I use these batteries, day in and day out.

Brad, Could Use A Day Off

Tools of choice to use with these batteries include the Dewalt 887 Impact and the Dewalt Drywall Gun.

But almost all black and yellow handheld tools will work with the 2.0s.

Brad grabs ’em whenever he finds a good deal, especially when they’re in a 2-pak or a 3-pak on the Zon.

Not enough.

Even though he’ll step it up to a bigger battery for circular saws and other tools that need big power, Brad’s ever-lurking tennis elbow makes choosing the slims a no-brainer.

I find using the smaller batteries really does help out my arm.
